Welcome to The Sri Lanka Wilderness Foundation

Sri Lanka Wilderness Foundation is an organization dedicated for conservation Sri Lanka's wilderness through Education and Sustainable tourism development. Our Responsible tourism arm - Eco Team has spearheaded projects in 24 locations island wide since year 2000 and all these projects also will be coordinated and taken forward by SLWF.

The tourists have the possibility to offset the carbon footprint created by their travel. Indeed, during the trip the fee spent by the traveler will be a direct contribution in preserving the environment and wellbeing of the communities. Moreover some get involved physically in research and infrastructure development work too. 

We offer career breaks, student gap years and internship to work closely with our field conservation units, in partnership with local communities.
